Terry's eyes were glazed over, making things quite blurry. The pain beneath his skin was raw and exhausting. Graves was born with a gentleman's heart. Chivalry was not dead until this young man drew his last breath. It was in his moral code that he wouldn't make her do this for him.

He attempted to stand, but his legs buckled almost immediately. The young man struck the floor with a loud thwack. A antagonizing groan rolled out from his throat. It felt like someone had set his forehead on fire, then smacked him with a crusty brick. Terry carefully brought his elbows up to elevate his injured head from the hard...ever so hard wood floor.

Oddly, all Terrance could do was look up and smile at the beauty. It wasn't of warmth or admiration. This came from the sheer embarrassment and ridiculousness of how weak he was since he'd woken up. The young man still didn't grasp the concept of why every centimeter of his body burned. He figured it was just his nerves being in shock after being shot. Didn't mean he liked it any better; it was just nice knowing he had a good idea what the hell was going on since nothing really made sense anymore.

Terry still needed to figure out who had shot him. He needed to get better so he could head back to the scene of the crime and investigate. He had willed himself to do so, but his will proved far stronger than his body. The poor guy realized that as he became acquainted with the cold, unforgiving floor.

His cheeks were forced into a slight flush in the embarrassment of his weakness. A courtship of sigh and chuckle released from his breath. He peered up at the luscious beauty through his wet strands of hair. She seemed to avoid his gaze, like she was afraid of him. Terry looked down in the floor, feeling that he was accidentally invading her privacy without intending to. That's when he spotted that his hair was practically crying on her nice wood floors.

Suddenly, he smelled the grace of heaven hovering over him. This was wrong. Why was he describing her like that. No no, he couldnt be doing stuff like that. But that's honestly what came to him, like sweet evening roses, just like Amy use to love. It brought an angelic joy to his heart to be reminded of her once again. It was like she was here with him... He even saw the same cherry red hair hanging his direction as Hoshi crouched down.

It was like she was there... With him. No wonder this woman gave him such warmth. It was as if Amy had been returned to him in the form of this girl. The mere thought of that made him chuckle, despite how much it hurt to do so at the time.

But alas, it was all wrong. This woman was much more... bodacious than his angel. She was louder, more aggressive. This wasn't her. He knew that. But oh god, did he ever wish that she was. So close... Almost dead on with the face and her eyes. Hoshi was even acting the same way Amy did when Terry first met her. Shy and reclusive, yet emotional. It was so cute the way she used to do that... Now he was seeing it again. Graves saw so much of his past life in Hoshi. He saw his joy, his life that he lived without a care until Amy's passing. It was a reflection of the way he used to smile. The way he used to play. The way he used to be alive.

It would explain his goofy smile of shyness. Believe it or not, he had that with his late fiance as well. His body cursed him for admiring this woman, but how could he not? She was nearly what he'd been missing his whole life.

No, shut up. That is not right. No matter the similarities this woman could never be Amy Elizabeth Brock. This woman was just another drifting acquaintance in his life. She had to be; there wasn't room for sentiment or admiration in his heart anymore. It belonged solely to the angel that watched him from Heaven, not some bodacious stranger who's graciously generous.

Even if his heart was open to the building of love and care, the only thing Terry loved about her was her resemblance to his real love. He was only noticing the things he loved about Amy in her, not traits that made him go wild over Hoshi. Things made sense from there. Terry shook off his foolish day dreams of being loved again on this world. He already was loved, just separated love was all. The ache of doing so was just a complication. The dread of every day was just a side effect. He'd do it, what other choice did the young man have? Bury himself in the arms of someone he had no real attachment to? No, impossible.

Yet, Terry found himself stranded and in pain. Despite the awkward situation they were in, the sweet woman seemed eager to aid him. So he gave a beaming smile and nodded.

"Yes please!" He winced at the pain of smiling.

It was the fact that Terry tumbled off of the sofa rather suddenly made her jump as she reached for a wet cloth. Squeezing out the wash cloth of the excess glacier cold water; she lowered herself to get on her knees in front of the fluttered male. He was seemed rather flustered; her lips flustered. Hoshi felt something distracting her attention; her lips paused as she froze to wipe his flustered face. It felt like it was an emotion link disappearing, it was a woman thing; it felt like she apart…from his current looks. He was smiling so… shyly yet Hoshi felt he was trying to push her away. It was the same that most of her ex's had. Nothing in the world was fair at all; especially not to the maiden. The doll never really had anyone; it was always her or not her. He felt more distance then before or even more than before; he fighting with something inside. Just her luck; she found a cute guy no… He was handsome, adorable looking when he simply weakened; he was being a stupid religious try and to the her true opinion. Why has she not attempted to murder him? He was annoying her with rope of bullshit; she felt like she was fucking high school… She dropped the rag in the place and found her breathing heavily out of pure annoyance…. Though his eyes she saw how he looked at her; he looked at her as if she was someone he had given his heart to. He was a stranger… She might have kissed him softly on his lips once just it was in the moment; hoping it would help.

Why was it always Hoshi's luck, it was not the time or place for fucking romantic moments? Why did she find herself babying him to all his needs. She was a leader of the 12 top deadly assassins and she messing around with a super-powered male; who seemed like to be a hero type. If she had more patiences with him or even took a moment out of her blinded rage that was building up inside of her; Hoshi would try. It was truly not met to be for Hoshi, someone like her could not deal with her own problems like her one of her crazy ex's; he himself had his own powers. Jerking her body away from him; snapping her fingers at Robinston who instantly took her a place to wipe his head. Nor was she wanting to be an empty shell who saw her as someone else or a trophy girl. Hoshi with a scowl expression and sneering at Terry, she just wasted her time… She gripped onto her cocktail dress; as she stomped out with a terrorizing rage. Robinston just sighed heavily as he wiped Terry's forehead, [color:22e9=#800000 ]"Sorry Mr.Terry, she figured you are lost cause… Do not bother; she is a hot-blooded woman who has…problems such as yourself with Amy." His hands pulled a towel over his wide shoulders as you can see Hoshi walk out of place in general. Out of the hotel and into a texi… Only to find herself passed out from sleeping gas being spread in her face, she just dropped into a mysterious' man lap… It sped off towards the airport…

"My precious little Angel…" The man cooed as he pet his head even more with a snickered on her lips.

Terry stumbled to his feet, completely and utterly dumbfounded by the woman's random actions. What did he do? Did this woman have some sort of mind reading power and saw him eying her?

Furthermore, what was this man talking about?

"Hey, how the hell do you know Amy?" He stammered, shocked. The young black haired butler seemed to be just a bystander, but he knew exactly what was going on. Maybe he knew why Hoshi was acting so strange, and why everyone on the damn Earth knew about his fiance and what he was thinking.

Before he could yammer out more questions, his eyes gazed to the window. He spotted the redheaded beauty climbing into a taxi, probably off somewhere to vent her completely unwarranted frustrations with him. Terry didn't know if he was too sick or what, but he'd certainly pissed this woman off. But how? He hadn't said anything. If anything, all he said was courteous and caring things. She must have seen him staring it her.

"Dammit Terrance... You finally meet a pretty girl and you play your half single half taken game...," He cursed himself. Graves stared at her, continuing to cuss at himself for whatever mind read thought she had captured from his brain. What the hell had he done? Regardless, he knew whining hadn't gotten him any answers. So he started to walked out the door, carefully that is. The injured hero slowly made it to the front door. He was about to call out for the angelic looking woman when suddenly a strange gas filled the car. The young man gasped(which hurt) as she fell from sight. The cab immediately sped off.

"HEY!!!" he shouted in vein. The hero tried to go into action quick, but found the burning ache beneath his skin was still ever powerful. He gritted his teeth hard.

"I work through pain...,"Terry grumbled to himself as he ducked into an alley and let his suit cover his body. He leaped gingerly up over the building and spread his cape. He began to glide in the direction. The wind itself seemed to burn. What the hell had happened with him? Nevermind, Hoshi was definitely in danger!

He arched his wings, which caused his muscles to scream in agony. Dusk sped up to the taxi. Once within thirty feet, the dark hero launched his ectoplasm shot at the car. It attached to the bumped and he used it as leverage to keep up with the speeding vehicle. The whole city below him was blurring from here. He clearly wasn't healthy enough to be doing this. The suit had always helped him bounce back from injuries, but this one happened before he dawned on the suit, so he was screwed.

"C'mon! Not now!" Dusk shouted, feeling a little dizzy from all the spinning lights. He's glad he stuffed the taxi number into the back of his head because he surely couldnt make it out now. Damn, what was this?

In his bewilderment, Dusk was flying very clumsily. So clumsily, that the bridge above them had gone unnoticed. The dark hero ended up crashing through the safety rail and landing in the middle of the bridge topside. He groaned loudly, feeling like he'd been beaten with lead pipes everywhere. He sat idly for a long while. His body had become a festering sore it seemed. Movement was the last thing on his mind.

Not for long though.

Soon enough, he heard the echo of a sound in the distance. It sounded rickety and loud. Terry had no idea what he was hearing, nor did he really care. However, what he did care about was a vibration in the ground around him that stirred up his sensitive senses. He looked left and right in irritation.

Dusk was on a rail-track.

His eyes widened as he felt the train approaching. The massive vehicle would flatten him for sure. He had to get out of the way. Terry tried to move, but his ribs were an inferno.

"I can't even think with all this shit!!!" He screamed, realizing the how the dire the situation had become. He tried to roll, but only made it onto his belly up against the right rail.

"What the hell... Really?! C'MON!!!" The dark hero growled at his own deteriorated body. He could see the lights from the train behind him now. This thing certainly wasn't going to slow down for him at all. He'd just end up a super splat on the side of the tracks. Terry had to think of something quick. And that thought certainly wasn't going to be a will.

His eyes widened as the roaring of the train entered his ears. Dusk extended his arms and shot two strings of ectoplasm out to two opposing buildings. In a quick yet extremely painful swing of his arms, he propelled himself from the tracks right as the train sped by. He let out a shill scream of pain from the sudden move, but was relieved deep down, knowing that if he hadn't done that; his brain matter would be all across that track.

Terry smashed into the wall of an alley way. He yelped as a nearby trash bin broke his fall. He groaned loudly then just wheezed.

"Grreeaaat....Just Greaaaat....," Terry moaned.
